Should I finish Spore before installing Spore:Galactic Adventures?

I have made it to the space stage in Spore but I haven't finished it yet. Can I install Galactic Adventures or will it diminish the original game in any way?Should I finish Spore before installing Spore:Galactic Adventures?
Galactic Adventures will not diminish the original game in any way. The only difference that occurs in Space Stage when you install Galactic Adventures is that, when you do missions for other empires, you may embark on an adventure. This may be problematic for you if you do a lot of missions, as some missions are very hard. But if missions are not your playing style, then don't worry about it.



Either way, you never "finish" Space Stage, unless you mean achieving the Staff of Life. But the space stage never "ends"

In Spore, do you get to keep playing as your space empire when you beet the space age?

After you complete that you need to carry on going to different galaxies and completeing the planets. There are loads of galaxies with LOTS planets in them.

How can I defeat enemy empires on spore during space stage at the beginning?

i'm only a admiral. The only weapons i have are the weak laser and weak proton missiles. I'm at war with the duckulon empire, and they repeatedly attack my home planet every five minutes. I can never destroy one of their colonies because i get blasted by 20 ships as soon as i enter the planet. My allies never come to help me. Any possible way to get a huge fleet of ships at my home planet to attack with or any ways to have my allies help me in a war, please tell me. What you need to do is to beef up on resources like money and weapons because it will also help you in defending your Empire. If you think your strong enough; raid their small colonies and work your way up to their Home world. Allies can help you; you can send them to attack a planet for a small fee or ask to borrow one of their ships, but they are pretty useless in combat. So the best thing to do is to constantly upgrade you Ship and the flow of your income. Hope this helps :))

I'm stuck in the space level in Spore!?

I used a cheat and now i cant find a crash site (the first mission). it sends me to a planet that looks just like Earth called Pelus. it says to look for crash site but there is none.

Should i restart Spore or what?

Using cheats in Spore does cause some problems to the gameplay (only the one your playing that you did the cheat in). You should restart if its not there. Remember don't use cheats in Spore. At least you were at the begining.

Spore (PC game) crashes in space stage?

I have spore (it's pirated, my friend only lent me.)

But he said it was fully functional, until I found something.



In creature stage, the game constantly crashes every 30-40 minutes, so i need to save and quit and re-open it. I just took the annoyance off my mind and reached space stage...

When I have completed all the commander's basic missions, then next the commander asked me what missions I'd like.

I chose to terraform, and then the message goes on and on.



I then flew to an uncharted planet then the problem starts. The screen flickers big black triangles (the 1st point of the triangle is at the most top-left corner of the screen, 2nd is at the lower left, then the 3rd is at the center.). (This problem started from the creature stage up to the space stage. FYI) Then after several flickers of those triangles, the game freezes (it doesn't even return to the desktop! sh*t!)

I then have to unplug the computer because I can't even get the mouse and keyboard running.

Then when I start Spore again it just continues on and on and on. Irritating! i can't do the usual routing of save-quit-reopen because it immediately crashes when I land on the uncharted planet. It also requires saving in the solar system, not the planet.



Please help!

Please don't tell me the following:

1.) Reinstall without EA Download Manager (already did that)

2.) Disable Internet (Already did that too)

3.) Upgrade graphics driver blah (still doing that)

4.) Trash the game because it's useless (NO IT'S NOT!)



One more thing:

I can't download the patch. I'm not sure if it'll destroy my pirated game. Although if you can say i can, give me proof. thanks! :D (am i demanding?)

Ive had that exact thing happen in the space stage, its not the processing speed or ram...its the video card. to fix this problem you will need to get a new one. They can be very expensive, but You can get a really nice one off ebay for a really good price. Another thing that you can do is change the graphical quality on the game... to do this- open spore, go to options, and change all of the qualities to low. Downloading patches wont do anything, ive tried it.

In Spore. I want to skip to space stage. Can anybody help?

I made it well into space stage before my computer broke. An when they fixed it. They reset everything. I want to know if anyone has found a way to skip stages. Why does my spore game freeze in the communication window?

when i am in spore, during the civilization %26amp; space phase, whenever i talk to another creature using the communication, and the window closes, the entire computer freezes and i have to turn of the computer manually. does anyone know why this is happening %26amp;and how to stop it?Why does my spore game freeze in the communication window?
The same thing happen to me, its probably the disc will not read full because that was my issue even tho I had a brand new laptop the game would only allow me to play certain times, Sims 3 and other great games let me load but this one is just a no check your software just in case and if that does not work contact spore.
